Toronto Real Estate Board hosts Mayoral Candidates
Forum This will be a great opportunity for Realtors to hear directly from the candidates so that they can make an informed decision on election day, said Cynthia Lai, TREB President. Many municipal issues have a direct impact on Realtors and real estate markets. Realtors care about what happens to their City. We interact with its residents and businesses every day, and we know that they are affected by the decisions made by City Council, whether it be on property taxes, affordable housing, or even the sign by-law, Lai said. The forum will be moderated by Steve Paikin, Host, Studio 2, TVOntario. Realtors will have the opportunity to pose questions to each of the Mayoral candidates. The forum is being held at the Delta Toronto East, 2035 Kennedy Road (near Hwy. 401 and Kennedy Rd.) and is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Toronto Ballroom. Media is welcome to attend this event and is asked to report to the media desk upon arrival. Serving approximately 19,000 REALTORS throughout the Greater Toronto Area, the Toronto Real Estate Board is North America's largest full service real estate board. -30- * Please note that TREB counts by business or sales days.
In a 30 day month, there will usually be about 20 sales days, depending on when
