RSS Feed
A web feed is a file that contains frequently updated
information, such as news headlines, articles or blog posts.
When web feeds are periodically published by a site on the Internet, in order
to provide updates on that siteÕs recently added content, the process is referred
to as web syndication.
RSS is the most common feed format that is used by publishers
to syndicate news and other content over the web automatically. The acronym stands
for Really Simple Syndication.
Readers who want to subscribe to timely updates from their favourite websites
and blogs, or to gather feeds from many sites into one place can use a tool that
is called an "RSS reader", "feed reader",
or "aggregator". To
